You are right I forgot about the macik who use sell nasi lemak at the entrance. In fact after her there was another lady whose husband was working in MPT selling nasi campor during lunch hours. I use to have my breakfast ther in the morning with half boil egg and steamed bread with butter & kaya. Yes, old man was nice guy and sometime would give discount too. After the son-in-law took over there was less customers because of his attitude. He was not a local but from Penang I think. Old man had two daughters but left after the fathers death. Wonder if his wife is still around.
The next building belongs to the an estate owner whose sons run the office there cum house up stairs. After that was a restaurant run by the police canteen owners. The next plot was a vacant lot but now I see a new building. I think it was built lately.
