from the stall at the back of the Peace Hotel coffeeshop. The chap running the stall could recognise me instantly and I had to oblige him by making a big order of the lor bak for the three of us :-) The double-boiled ("tan thong") soup you are referring to must be the one at the front of the shop. All the soups there are very good. That stall is run by the father but the daughter managed another coffeeshop selling the same stuff and I wonder whether she still does. As soon as we arrived in Taiping yesterday, we had a coffee and some poh piah at this place shown in pic below. Do you know the name of this coffeeshop we ate in? :-) Best wishes, kayes.
